Can the plants be removed?

Small plants can be moved, but large plants remain in place. However, they can be relocated within the venue between De Gym and De Kas.

Can we bring our own DJ equipment?

Yes, you can! Please note that you'll also need to bring your own speakers and DJ booth.

Can we decorate the venue?

Yes, you’re welcome to decorate, as long as everything is cleaned up the same evening. Please note that confetti, artificial snow, and smoke machines are not allowed.

Can we bring our own entertainment?

Yes, you can arrange your own entertainment. However, drum sets, and live bands are not allowed.

Can we bring our own drinks?

No, Hoogtij operates with its own bar and drink packages. If you'd like to bring a specific bottle, this is possible for a corkage fee of €12.50 per bottle. Contact us to discuss the options.

Until what time can events take place?

On weekends, events can continue until 3:00 AM, and on weekdays until 1:00 AM.

Until what time can the rooftop terrace be used?

The rooftop terrace can be used until 10:00 PM. After that, events move indoors to keep our neighbours happy.

What time can we start setting up?

You can start setting up 2 to 3 hours before your event, depending on its size. Need more time? Let us know, and we can arrange for early access.

Where can we park?

Parking is available on Johan van Hasseltweg for just €1.60 per hour until 7:00 PM, after which it’s free. You can also park behind the building (Aambeeldstraat 10) for €1.35 per hour or €10 for a full-day ticket.

What sustainability initiatives does Hoogtij support?

At Hoogtij, we’re committed to sustainability. Our green roof improves insulation and biodiversity, and we even have a bee hotel to support local nature. De Oranje Toren can accommodate up to 15 people, depending on the setup.

What is Hoogtij, and what types of events can it host?

Hoogtij is a unique event venue in Amsterdam-Noord with five distinctive spaces, including a glasshouse and a panoramic rooftop terrace. It’s perfect for corporate events, weddings, meetings, product launches, and private dining experiences.

What is the alcohol and drug policy?

We operate a strict 18+ alcohol policy. Drug use is not permitted on our premises.

What catering options are available at Hoogtij?

We offer tailor-made catering, from luxury sit-down dinners and informal walking dinners to extensive rooftop BBQs. Cocktail packages and shared platters are also available.

What DJ equipment is available?

Our DJ setup includes:

Yes, our spaces are highly flexible and can be adapted to your needs, whether you’re hosting an intimate gathering or a large-scale event.

Yes, pets are welcome as long as they are house-trained.

No, umbrellas are not permitted on the rooftop terrace.

How can I reach Hoogtij by public transport or car?

Hoogtij is located in Amsterdam-Noord and is easily accessible by metro, bus, and car. Metro station Noorderpark is just an 8-minute walk away.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements?

Absolutely! We cater to all dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, allergy-specific, and halal options. Please inform us at least 10 days in advance, along with the final guest count.

What is the maximum sound level?

The maximum permitted sound level at Hoogtij is 90 decibels. Please keep this in mind when planning your music and entertainment.

  • De Kas: up to 40 people
  • De Gym: up to 60 people

Is there air conditioning in De Kas?

No, but De Kas features a sunshade system and an automatic ventilation system. The windows open and close automatically to maintain a comfortable temperature.

Can outdoor areas be covered in case of rain?

Only the Daktheater can be covered in light rain and minimal wind. Other outdoor spaces remain uncovered.
